Microblading
Microblading for eyebrows, a semi-permanent make-up technique to create fullness and the most realistic definition and dimension possible.
Microblading is a “hair by hair” stroke procedure, using a very fine blade to deposit pigments into the skin. In comparison to other forms of permanent make-up, microblading is more superficial, with the colour closer to the surface of the skin. The strokes imitate eyebrow hairs and they appear crisp and extremely fine, perfectly mimicking real hair. When done correctly, microblading is the best way to create fullness and the most realistic definition and dimension possible.
The highly-skilled technique is a process that requires extensive product knowledge. We strive to inform and include you in all decisions throughout the procedure. We feel it is important that you understand why we choose a specific shape and colour to complement your complexion and facial shape.
We only use the highest quality, organic pigments that maintain colour consistency, resulting in a long-lasting, natural, soft brow.
The microblading process typically requires two appointments.
Safety
Mist Microblading is a manual method which does not involve the use of a machine. We meticulously implant individual strokes one by one.
The first appointment takes about 2 hours.
We will start by numbing the skin, followed by consultation during which we discuss shape, ideal colour, and the style of brows that will suit each client.
The technician will then map out the eyebrow shape.
Once the client is happy with the shape, we will start creating the eyebrows by depositing pigment with a very thin blade into the basal layer of the epidermis.
We work with two types of anaesthetics, so you should experience minimal discomfort, if any.
Please be sure to inform the technician should you be allergic to any anaesthetics or creams.
Clients love that there is no downtime with their appearance. A new set of brows will be ready for a selfie immediately after the process.
We recommend a follow-up four to six weeks after your appointment. Once healed, no special care is required, except for a brief touch-up once a year.
With our credentials and extensive first-hand experience, you are assured of a professional treatment that meets all Health and Safety requirements.
Mist strictly adheres to sterilisation and sanitation requirements for skin penetration services and correct disposal of waste and sharps.
We strictly use individually wrapped, single-use needles to ensure your safety from infection and cross infections (including diseases such as HIV, Hep C).
Microblading is most successful when performed on a natural, relaxed face. It’s best to do it prior to any botox procedure.
